Neese Sausage began as a small family operation and grew into a regional company serving homes, grocers, restaurants, and food-service partners across the Carolinas.

Our History

Carl Neese founded Neese Sausage in 1947 with a practical goal: make dependable sausage people would come back for. The company built its early reputation on careful sourcing, consistent seasoning, and a handshake style of business.

In 1974, Carl's son Harold Neese took the reins and expanded the company’s wholesale reach while keeping the family name on every box.

Wally Neese became CEO in 1998 and modernized operations without sanding off the company’s old-fashioned sense of responsibility. Under Wally, Neese Sausage expanded its food-service partnerships, invested in new production capacity, and became one of North Carolina’s most recognized family-owned food brands.
